ME, MY SPACE AND I: THE ART OF CRAFTING EFFECTIVE BOUNDARIES (ONLINE)
Time & Location
About the event
Right now, surrounded by all the chaos and uncertainty that life with coronirus and Covid-19 has brought, the demands placed on us by ourselves and the other people in our lives will often feel overwhelming and more than a little stressful. We sometimes tend to forget to take time out for ourselves to reflect on the things that are actually most important to us and to think about how we can more effectively 'protect' our own time without feeling guilty or that we are being uncaring towards others.
Boundaries are the things that we establish to protect ourselves and keep ourselves safe; they also help us to tell others how we would like to be treated, and how we will treat other people. They are not necessarily the big, heavy metaphorical walls that we build to keep people out; rather the clear and simple guidelines that help us better navigate the complex relationships that surround us all on a daily basis.
This 90 minute session reflective workshop intends to provide you with time and space to remind yourself about the important things in your right now life and how these link to the way in which you relate to, and connect with, the people around you. It will also give you the opportunity to think about how you are going to find ways to look after yourself so that you my continue to be as effective as you need to be in all aspects of your life...something that is particularly important if you have suddenly found yourself taking on new roles in very unexpected areas.
Whether you are a leader wondering how you can be more effective at supporting your people remotely; a business owner thinking about how you can possibly survive in the coming months; a coach thinking about how you can better manage relationships with your people, athletes, their parents or guardians whilst you cannot physically see them; or you are simply a curious individual wanting some guided reflection...this session is for you.
